Hi there! My name is Odelia. Becoming a mom has been life changing, not only on a personal level but on a professional one as well. Literally -- my sweet babes instilled in me a drive for a new pursuit and for becoming a Lactation Consultant IBCLC.

I feel incredibly blessed and fortunate to be able to do what I am passionate about for a living.
 

I am the mom of four delightful breastfed children and I have been right where you are…
It is physical, it is emotional, it is overwhelming and it can be tough.
I believe that support is key to make the most out of your breast/chestfeeding journey. Having someone who knows that breastfeeding is important and who knows that you can do it makes a huge difference.

My calling is to help parents have a successful breast/chest/bottle feeding experience, and I believe that success is defined by you and your own goals.
My role is to guide, educate, empower and counsel with evidence-based, up-to-date information, so you can make informed decisions that work for you, your baby, your family and your lifestyle. Together, we customize a plan of care that is realistic, doable and that you feel comfortable implementing.

I am not the breastfeeding police!
I take a non-judgmental, guilt-free approach and respect every family’s objectives and beliefs. There is no “one size fits all” and lactation care is tailored to your individual needs. Great Start Lactation is an inclusive practice; I serve ALL families and support all infant feeding options.
